    ON/OFF Press the button located on the Front Panel. The unit beeps and the LCD displays the operating system initializing parameters, and finally displays the Zonge Logo screen, which is the starting screen for all operations. <0402a_24SPLASH> CONTRAST Adjust screen contrast and backlight, pressing if necessary.

    This allows the operator to inspect them for consistency across all the analog cards. 1. From the Zonge Logo screen press to start the CR program. 2. From the CR Channel Table, make sure all the channels to be calibrated are turned on.

Frequent calibrates, especially as the environment changes, will provide the best results. Refer to Section 6, Setup, and the sections for specific programs, for more information about calibration, and when to use METHOD 1SHOTCAL, MODE INTERNAL, and when to set gain values.

    TIMING CARD SYNCHRONIZATION Synchronization of the timing card should be performed when synchronization with GPS, or an XMT, is required.     GDP-32 INSTRUCTION MANUAL 4.12 LINE SETUP The lower third of most Main Menu screens contains Line Setup fields. The Line Setup area of the screen should be filled in before setting parameters in the Channel Table. The information in this part of the screen can affect how changes to other fields are automatically updated, especially in the Channel Table.
