5. To find an event:
Touch Search (landscape mode)
– or –
Touch Menu Search (portrait mode)
Use the on-screen keyboard to enter a search term.
Possible events display as you type.
Touch Next on the keyboard to remove it.
Touch an event to send, edit, or delete the event.
6. Touch New event and then touch Done to add a
new event to your calendar. For more information, refer
to "Creating a Calendar Event" on page 141.
Touch Go to accounts and sync and then touch Done to
add a new account from which calendar events can be
synced. For more information, refer to "Customizing
the Calendar" on page 142.
Touch Never show again to always go directly to the
New event screen.

7. Touch Menu for these options:
• Search: Use the keyboard to find an even in portrait mode.
• Go to: Use the Set date pop-up to enter a date and then touch
Set to display that date on your calendar.
• Delete: Delete events for the day, week, month, before today,
or all events, depending on the calendar view.
• Sync Calendar: Manually synchronizes the calendar entries
among all of your current accounts, for example, Gmail, Yahoo,
Exchange, and so on.
• Settings: Customize the calendar. For more information, refer
to "Customizing the Calendar" on page 142.
• Show controls/Hide controls: Show or hide a small month
calendar and a list of events in landscape mode.

Creating a Calendar Event

To create a calendar event:
1. From a Home screen, touch
