    Using Smart Capture Capturing a still image You can capture still images from i.LINK™ compatible devices. For connecting the device, refer to "Connecting a Digital Video Camera Recorder" in your Notebook Computer user guide. Also consult the Smart Capture on- line help for information on installation and use.

    Using Smart Capture Shooting a video clip Shooting a video clip You can use Smart Capture to shoot (capture) video clips with a Video Camera connected to your computer, as well as play them or send them via e-mail. Launch Smart Capture. Select MOVIE using the Switch Capture Mode Button.

To playback captured video clips Start the Movie Player software. Click B to playback the images. Click X to pause, x to stop playback. To end Movie Player click To send a video clip via e-mail If you shoot a video clip in a low resolution format, you can send it by e-mail.

When compression is completed, a window message will ask you if you want to attach the file to your e-mail. Accept and send the e-mail.

If you select a different power management profile while using battery power, the same profile will be automatically selected the next time you use the battery pack to power your computer.

PowerPanel automatically selects the profile associated with the application you’re using and changes profiles as you switch between applications. The Power Management lets your system enter energy saving modes by levelling some energy consuming parameters, such as LCD brightness, or hard disk activity.
