Rear panel functions

POWER CONNECTOR
The socket is combined with a fuse holder and 1A 250C fuse.
DC INPUT
The weekly player can be powered from an external 24 V power supply or
24 V batteries.
RELAY OUT
This is normally open (NO) relay output, which becomes closed when an
audio message or background music starts to play.
MESSAGE TRIGGER
The device has eight dry contacts designed to start
play messages from 1 to 8 remotely. The first trigger
starts to play audio file M001 located in folder MESSA.
Trigger 8 starts to play message M008.
You can use the Stop trigger to stop audio anytime.
LINE OUTPUTS
The device has two line level audio outputs: Phoenix - balanced mono and stereo RCA.

DIP SWITCH
This switch allows to enable or disable microphone input priority, phantom
power as well as change input gain and make input suitable to connect line
level audio or microphone.
PRIORITY
The mode is designed for emergency and other high priority audio messages.
Audio in this input mutes scheduled messages and background music if
priority DIP switch is set to position ON .
PHANTOM POWER
Set phantom power DIP switch to position ON in order to activate phantom
power in balanced input. The maximum phantom power voltage is +24 V. To
disable phantom power set the switch to the OFF position. Keep phantom
power disabled if you are going to use the line level audio or dynamic
microphone. Enable phantom power in only one case - if you are using
condensed microphone.
MIC/LINE
Boost balanced input gain, switch to position MIC, in order to amplify the
audio signal from the microphone properly.
FIRMWARE UPDATE
It is a MICRO USB type connector designed to upload the main CPU firmware.
