INTRODUCTION
The aP548 digital TV antenna features an in-built
FM/VHF/UHF amplifier with gain control, telescopic
FM/VHF antenna and UHF loop antenna with
variable rotating/tilting action. The antenna unit
is powered by 240 Volt mains power and includes
an inbuilt coaxial lead with male PaL connector to
connect directly to your TV.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Place antenna on a stable surface.
• Connect coax lead (RF OUT) from antenna to the
antenna (RF) input of your TV or receiver.
• Connect plug to 240V power outlet.
• Turn the gain control knob slightly clockwise and
the blue power indicator LED will glow indicating
power on.
Note: For the best reception, please check the
following conditions
1. Keep the antenna away from the sources of
interference: Keep the antenna away from those
big power consumption devices, such as air
conditioner, elevator, hair dryer and microwave
oven ...etc
2. Place the antenna near windows when use the
antenna in indoor environment.
3. Install the antenna as high as possible: in digital
terrestrial reception - when there are some
obstacles between antenna and transmission
tower, it will cause temporary signal loss. So if
the antenna is installed as high possible, those
obstructions will be reduced.
OPERaTINg INSTRUCTIONS
1. Switch on TV and aP548 antenna.
2. Choose TV channel required by
selection on your TV or remote
control.
3. Extend or rotate Telescopic antennas
to optional position to gain
satisfactory picture.
4. UHF loop antenna can be tilted and
rotated until optimal position is
found.
5. To further improve reception, start
from minimum level, then turn gain
control clockwise to increase gain
until satisfactory levels are reached.
avoid setting gain higher than
necessary for good reception.
