Always use the insulated grip surfaces in order to carry the device and only transport it if it has
cooled down entirely.
Neither pull at the power cable, nor use it to hold or carry the device.
Always make sure that the power cord is not bent, trapped or rubbing against sharp edges.
The device must not be used in case of the power cable being damaged. Do not try to perform
repairs by yourself and instead have a professional tend to the device and replace the power
cord with a new, undamaged one.

Application
Before using the device, always make sure that the air intake openings as well as the air outlet
located on the conical nozzle are neither clogged nor covered.
Direct the nozzle of the device at the weed you wish to remove. Be aware that the effect that
the heat has on the plants will not be visible immediately. Plants with soft leaves generally react
most sensitively to heat and only require a single treatment in order to be dealt with while older
plants and plants with harder leaves such as thistles require multiple treatments in intervals of
one to two weeks.
In order to succeed in permanently removing weeds, the treatment has to be more intense in
the beginning and requires repetition. Once the decline has become noticeable, the intervals in
between treatments can be increased.
Be aware that it is not necessary to burn the weeds; simple heating is already enough to dry the
leaves and thereby make sure the weeds are not viable any longer.
Maintenance
Turn the device off, ensure that it is not connected to the power supply, and wait until all parts have
cooled down entirely before performing any kind of cleaning, repair or maintenance work. Repairs and
in-depth maintenance should only be performed by professionally trained people. We advise the use of
a dry piece of cloth or a brush for cleaning purposes.
