Note
The remote control of the unit employs
command signals in common with other
Sony DVD products.
Thus, depending on the button, other Sony
DVD products may respond.
A Turns the Sony TV and the
system on and changes the
TV's input source.
B Sets the system to turn off at a
preset time.
C Selects AM or FM band.
D Mutes the sound.
E Press to store a preset station.
F Selects program or shuffle play
mode.
G Displays the repeat status.
H Switches monaural or stereo of
FM stereo reception.
I Switches the TV's input source
between the TV and SYSTEM.
Sets the remote to TV mode.
Normal mode: turns off.
TV mode: turns red.
J Changes the sound while
playing a DVD or VIDEO CD.
K Changes the angles when
playing a DVD.

L Displays the "SUBTITLE"

next chapter or track or to go
back to the previous chapter or

N Plays a disc.

MP3/JPEG: Select albums
Q Selects and executes the items
or settings.
R Displays the Control Menu
display on the TV screen to set
or adjust the items.
S Selects the TV Channel.
T Adjusts the TV volume.
U Turns the TV on and off.
V Turns on and off the power of
the system.
W Opens or closes the disc tray.
X Bass sound is effectively
reinforced.
Y Selects the sound field.
Z Selects the sound field.
wj Makes sound clear at low
volume.
wk Selects the component you
want to use.
wl Selects the items of settings.
TV: Selects channel numbers.*
e; Executes the items or settings.
TV: Press after selecting a
channel number
ea m/M (SCAN) : Locate a
point while monitoring the
picture while playing disc.
SLOW : Play a disc in
/
slow motion in the pause mode.
TUNING –/+ : Scan all
available radio stations.
es Stops playing a disc.
ed Switches the item displayed on
the front panel display.
ef Displays the DVD menu on the
TV screen.
MP3/JPEG: Select albums
eg Adjust the SYSTEM volume.
eh Press to return to the previously
selected screen, etc.
ej Changes the input mode of the
TV.
ek Cancels the programmed
tracks, etc.
el Changes the brightness of the
front panel display by two
steps.
r; Displays the setup display on
the TV screen to set or adjust
the items.
* Depending on the TV manufacturer,
the following method may also work.
Press >10, then the number. (For
example, for channel 25, press >10,
then 2 and 5.)
