    Setting the height of the moving cutter blade In order to ensure the realisation of optimum cutting behaviour for both the slitting of metal sheets and the cutting of curved lines, the clearance between the moving cutter blade and the fixed cutter blade (penetration depth into the sheet) must be adjusted in accordance with both the projected cutting task and the sheet thickness.
