    8 - First things first Taking care of your AC adapter Here are some ways to take care of your AC adapter: • Do not connect the adapter to any other device. • Do not step on the power cord or place heavy objects on top of it. Route the power cord and any cables away from where people walk.
  • Page 9 • The charging port must be clean and free from debris and should only be used with Acer charging equipment. Use of a non-Acer battery or charging equipment can cause damage to the product and will void the warranty.
  • Page 10 • Device with removable battery: The battery should only be replaced with parts approved by Acer. Do not replace the battery with any parts other than approved ones. This notebook uses a Lithium-based battery. Do not use it in a humid, wet or corrosive environment.

    22 - Using the Precision Touchpad S I NG THE RECISION OUCHP AD The touchpad controls the arrow (or 'cursor') on the screen. As you slide your finger across the touchpad, the cursor will follow this movement. The Precision Touchpad (PTP) is designed to provide a more uniform, smooth, and accurate touchpad experience.

    ConceptD provides Acer Care Center, which allows you to reset your PC, refresh your PC, backup files/data or create a factory default backup. If you cannot access Acer Care Center, click Settings in the Start menu, select System and then click Recovery.

    46 - ConceptD Palette App Center App Center is a great way to quickly launch the installed app in your computer. Select icon to add your favorite apps into the app center. Advanced Settings Select the Settings to change settings for your system. You can change temperature units or turn keyboard backlight off automatically if no action within 30 seconds.

Sync up the color profile When the color profile settings are different between ConceptD monitor and laptop, you can select Apply from the system notification to sync the color profile on the monitor.

In order to use the fingerprint reader, you must first configure the fingerprint reader to recognize your fingerprint to confirm your identity.
