    Getting Started Operating Your Tablet R232 Connection The RS-232 port located on the top of the tablet is an interface that allows for the transmission of data to and from the tablet and other data devices (such as a computer or infrastructure- related equipment) for various purposes including the transfer of information or sending commands.

    CAXA0 Rugged Tablet User Manual Entering the BIOS Menu BIOS (Basic Input / Output System) is a hardware configuration program installed in the tablet and initialized when the tablet is powered on. The BIOS is preset to optimal default settings for normal use, but in certain cases a user or technician might want to access the BIOS menu to change certain hardware settings for the tablet or to boot directly to a specific bootable device.
