Die Gebrauchsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produktes. - Page 3 Gebrauchsanleitung 4. MONTAGEANLEITUNG Die Montage muss durch eine qualifizierte Fachkraft erfolgen. Bitte beachten Sie die fünf Sicherheitsregeln! Der GAS ALARM GX-A1+ und der Sensor dürfen nur in trockenen Innen- räumen von Wohnhäusern und Räumen mit wohnungsähnlicher Nutzung installiert und müssen je nach Gastyp richtig platziert werden, damit eine einwandfreie Funktion des Warngerätes gewährleistet ist.
- Page 4 4.4 Anschlussbelegung Relais Bei Anschluss von Zubehörgeräten am potenzialfreien Relais ist zu beachten, dass der max. Schaltstrom von 5 Ampere nicht überschritten wird. ► Relaisstatus im Überwachungsmodus: Das Relais ist „angezogen“ (Schließerkontakt geschlossen / Öffnerkontakt offen) ► Relaisstatus im Alarm- oder Fehlermodus: Das Relais „fällt ab“...

INBETRIEBNAHME / FUNKTIONSTEST Eine elektrische Funktionsprüfung erfolgt beim Anlegen der Netzspannung, dann wird für ca. 3 Minuten die Aufheizphase gestartet, das Display zeigt System: OK Sensor: Preheat bis der Sensor die erforderliche Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat, danach Sensor: Ready Beachten Sie: Auch bei Netzausfall werden Prüfung und Aufheizphase erneut gestartet. 5.1 So funktioniert das Warnsystem Der GX-A1+ wertet Spannungen aus, die vom Sensor geliefert werden.
- Page 6 5.2 Die RESET/TEST-Taste 5.2.1 Die Testfunktion Der GX-A1+ verfügt über eine Testfunktion für seine internen Systeme. Der angeschlossene Sensor wird dabei nicht mitgetestet. Um den Sensor zu testen, sehen Sie bitte in dessen Betriebsanleitung nach, was für den jeweiligen Typ empfohlen wird. Um Ihre Ohren vor dem lauten Alarmton zu schützen, legen Sie den Handballen der rechten Hand auf die Schallöffnung des Piezo-Alarmgebers und drücken mit dem linken Zeigefinger auf die RESET/TEST-Taste und halten diese gedrückt.

Einzel- oder Folgeschäden, die daraus resultieren, dass kein Alarmsignal trotz erhöhter Gaskonzentration durch den Gasmelder gegeben wird. Um stets eine einwandfreie Funktionsfähigkeit gewährleisten zu können, sollten Sie Sensoren zur Sicherheit nach 5 Jahren austauschen. -

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS The assembly must be carried out by a qualified specialist. Please note the five safety rules! The GAS ALARM GX-A1+ and the sensor may only be installed in dry in- teriors of residential buildings and rooms with similar uses and must be correctly positioned depending on the gas type so that the warning device functions properly. -

COMMISSIONING / FUNCTIONAL TEST An electrical function test is carried out when the mains voltage is applied, then the heating- up phase is started for approx. 3 minutes, the display shows System: OK Sensor: Pre- heat until the sensor has reached the required operating temperature, then Sensor: Ready Please note: Even in the event of a power failure, the test and the heating-up phase are restarted.

To ensure that the sensor is always in a proper functioning state, you should replace it after 5 years for safety’s sake. -
