Replacing Batteries When the batteries are insufficient, the following phenomenon occurs. Replace batteries immediately. ⚫ The display dims. ⚫ The volume of alarm sound gets smaller or buzzer does not sound at all. ⚫ Sensor does not work (the timer does not start even if put a hand over the sensor) (1) Rotate two screws on the battery lid counterclockwise with a screwdriver until these are free.
