e Shooting Close-ups (Macro)
You can shoot an object at a close distance or even shoot extreme close-
ups of it. The possible shooting range is approximately 2 – 50 cm (0.8 in. –
1.6 ft.) from the end of the lens when the zoom lever is moved to the
maximum wide angle, and approximately 30 – 50 cm (12 in. – 1.6 ft.) when
the zoom lever is moved to the maximum telephoto side.
Using Î
You are recommended to attach the camera to a tripod and shoot in Î, so that
the camera does not move and blur the image (p. 74).
The edges of the image may darken if the flash fires.
Cannot be set when the shooting mode is set to V (p. 54), U (p. 55) or
t (p. 56).
Press the q button.
Select e.
Press the qr buttons or turn the  dial
to select e, then press the m button.
Once set, e will appear.
