INSTALLATION & OPERATING INSTRUCTION
WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
NOTE: The frequencies on your Receiver and Transmitter have been preset at the factory. Before
installing the Receiver, make sure the dip switches on the Receiver and Transmitter are set to
the same frequency. (Fig. 1) The dip switches on the transmitter are located inside the battery
compartment.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
• WA R N I N G : HIGH VOLTAGE: Disconnect the source of electrical power by removing the fuse or
switching off the circuit breaker.
• D o not use with solid state fans
• Electrical wiring must meet all local and national code requirements.
• Electrical source and fan must be 115/120v, 60112s Fan motor 1.0 amps max. light 300 watts
max.
• Household electrical power can cause serious injury or death.
NOTE: BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR NEW REMOTE CONTROL, MAKE SURE THE
FAN IS SET TO THE HIGHEST SPEED.
Note: This remote system is compatible with most ceihng
fans except those that have built in remote system.
Note: This remote system is not designed for fan forward/reverse
operation. For fan reverse operation, stop the fan first, and then
manually change the position of reverse switch located on the fan body
2. INSTALLING THE RECEIVER WIG 2)
a. R e m o v e ceiling fan canopy from mounting bracket.
bs Disconnect existing wiring between ceiling fan and supply wires from junction box.
3. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER
Using the wire nuts provided, make the electrical connections as follows:
a. Connect Green wire from fan to the Bare copper (ground) from junction box.
bs Connect Black wire (AC IN L) from the Receiver unit to the Black wire from junction box.
cs Connect White wire (AC IN N) from Receiver unit to While wire from junction box.
d. Connect White wire (TO MOTOR N) from Receiver unit to White wire from fan.
es Connect Black or Red wire (TO MOTOR L) from Receiver unit to Black or Red wire from fan.
fs Connect Blue wire (FOR LIGHT) from Receiver unit to Blue wire from fans If other fan or supply
wires are different color, consult or have a qualified electrician do the installation

Alter wires are connected, carefully tuck them into the junction box.

Lay the black antenna wire on top of Receiver unit, and insert into mounting bracket.
Is Reinstall the canopy on to mounting bracket.
4. OPERATING THE TRANSMITTER
a. L o a d a fresh set ot 4 "AAA" 1.5v batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
bs F A N AUTO Button:
Use this button to select Auto/Manual operation of your fan.
c. F a n speed "MANUAL" mode:
Use the blue button to adjust the speeds by pressing and releasing the button each time to
change speeds from High to Low as follows;

d. F a n speed "FAN AUTO" mode adjusts the speeds automatically based on the temperature
setting that you select. Follow the steps below to set the temperature on your control;
To select your desired room temperature, press the button to display FAN AUTO on the LCD
display.
Use the TEMP ./SET/HOUR Buttons A V to set the desired temperature from 59°F 90°F.
The fan will start automatically on low speed when the room temperature is equal and up to 4°F
over the set temperature. The speeds will change from low, medium and high as the
temperature increases or decreases in 4°F increments.

Note: To select Fahrenheit or Celsius units; Use a pin to press the switch located inside the hole on the
back of the transmitter unit marked "SET eFrc"
es L i g h t Button (orange):
This button turns the light on or off and also controls the brightness settings as follows;
Press and release the button and the light will turn on or offs
Press and hold the button to set the desired light brightness.
The light brightness is displayed on the LCD display in percentage numbers ranging from 100% to
20%. The fight will cycle continuously between bright and dim settings as long as the button is held
down. The light button features "auto resume", this feature allows the light brightness to remain at the
same brightness setting as the last time it was turned offs
THERMOSTATIC REMOTE CONTROL
LIGHT TIMER and FAN TIMER Buttons
Use this button to set the sleep timer from 0,5 to 24 hr. in one hour increments
• P r e s s the LIGHT or FAN TIMER button once, the timer symbols will be displayed on the LCD
displays Note: you have 6 seconds to set the sleep time, if you do not perform any entries
during this time, the light timer display will be turned off automatically. To re-set it simply press
the button again.
• U s e the TEMMET/HOUR Buttons A V t o set the desired sleep time starting from
0.5, 1.2,3...24 hr. The light or fan or both will be turned off automatically when the pre set time
expires. If the fan is in the FAN AUTO mode, it will return to MANUAL mode when the sleep timer
expires.
Light Delay-Pressing this button activates

the light delay function. The light will
automatically shut off after 3 minutes.
