HELPFUL TIPS

Before using for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your
2L STAINLESS STEEL COFFEE CARAFE. Simply boil a full kettle of water
and then discard the water. Repeat process once more.
1. Fill the carafe with whatever you're serving. If making a cold beverage, add ice first.
CAUTION: Do not exceed the MAX line (2 liters) of beverage.
2. Twist the lid into position until it's tight. the Lid and position the kettle back
on the Base. Make sure the kettle is completely in contact with the Base.
Mineral Deposits / Decalcifying
Minerals found in water, such as calcium and limestone, may leave
deposits in your carafe. It's recommended that you occasionally
clean the mineral deposits from the interior of your carafe.
1. To clean the mineral deposits from the interior of your carafe, fill
the carafe with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with
water. Allow the mixture to sit overnight. DO NOT BOIL.
2. Empty the solution from the carafe.
3. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by
rubbing with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
4. Lastly, fill the carafe with clean water, bring to a boil, and then discard. Repeat once more.
