Before initial operation, the batter- ies must be fully charged without connected load (R&S TSMA6/6B, R&S TSME6 reps.

    ® Operation R&S TSMA6B-BP Operation Modes Operation For portable operation powered from the batteries, it is recommended to use the R&S TSMA6B-BP always with 2 batteries in the bay. The batteries should have a comparable charging state as they are discharged simultane- ously.

    ® Operation R&S TSMA6B-BP Battery Charging Power On/Off 6.2.1 Auto Power On The output voltage at the docking connector TSMA6/6B and AUX1 / AUX2 is automatically switched on if any of the following conditions is fulfilled: ● Fully charged batteries are inserted in the empty battery bays and no external DC power supply is connected.

    ® Operation R&S TSMA6B-BP Monitoring Battery Charge State Charging time for the batteries may differ depending on the connected load as the maximum power consumption of the R&S TSMA6B-BP is limited. Automatic Power Path Switching Seamless switching of the output power is done automatically. As long as suffi- cient DC IN power is available, the connected devices are supplied from the external power supply and the batteries are charged.

When the batteries are charged, the upper segment of the LED display is blinking. To control the battery LED charge display during measurement without con- nected DC power supply, remove the batteries alternately to avoid output power interruptions.
