- Page 13 Live Casualty Simulation: During live casualty simulation, it’s recommended that the live simulated casualty operate the HydraSim . This allows the ® casualty to control the amount of pressure applied to their simulated wounds during the training exercise. If dressings and tourniquets are too loose during application, the casualty has the ability to keep their simulated wounds bleeding.
