Note: This pump may be used to replace any pump which mounts to plastic water plate bracket.
Cubers manufactured before 6-77 may contain a metal water pump mounting bracket which must be
replaced with a plastic bracket kit, P/N GBR0028206, to allow installation of this pump.
1. Turn off power to the cuber, then remove the two screws which hold the pump
assembly to the water plate bracket, and remove the control stream drain tube.
2. Remove the plastic housing (later models) or metal/plastic screen (earlier
models).
3. Remove all three wires and the conduit from the pump.
4. Disconnect the inlet and discharge tubes.
5. Connect the wires from the replacement pump as shown below,
6. Re-install the pump assembly to the water plate bracket and re-install the inlet
and discharge tubes.
7. Re-connect the control stream box drain tube,
CAUTION: (208-230 v./60 hz./2 wire models) Check voltage at the pump, yellow-to-white
wires. If voltage is greater than 120, be sure that the brown wire is connected to the 230
transformer terminal in models provided with the GBB00894 transformer (regardless of 208 or
230 volt supply). If so, and the pump voltage is greater than 120, the transformer is defective if
line voltage is less than 240. If line voltage ever exceeds 252 volts, and the transformer is not
defective, this pump is likely to cut out on its overload protector.
