Camera

The built-in camera can be used for video calling or videoconferencing.

Note: The light next to the camera indicates whether it is in use.

The screen displays text, graphics, and videos.

Notes:

• Selected models support multi-touch function. You can use your finger for interaction with the computer.

For details about the multi-touch function, see "Use the multi-touch screen" on page 25.

• The screen can be rotated up to 180 degrees. Do not rotate the screen with too much force, or apply too

much force to the upper-right or upper-left corner of the screen. Otherwise, the screen or hinges might get

damaged.

When you open the LCD cover, the computer starts automatically. If it does not start, press the power key.

The power key also can be used to put the computer to sleep mode or wake up the computer.

Your Chromebook keyboard works just like a conventional keyboard but with a few special shortcut keys for

quick access to certain settings. In addition to the special shortcut keys, Chromebook also supports shortcut

keys using the ctrl, alt, or shift key.

The touchpad supports the single-click function. Move your finger on the touchpad to move the cursor, and

tap or click on the touchpad to start apps.

If your computer includes a radio transmitter, wireless antennas are built into the computer for sending and

receiving radio. The antennas are not visible from the outside of the computer.
