How the Solar Light Works:
During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy and stores it in the rechargeable battery.
At night, the light turns on automatically and illuminates using this stored energy.
How long the light illuminates depends on its location, weather and seasonal lighting availability.
Positioning the Solar Light
Locate outdoors in direct sunshine, where the lights solar panel can receive at least 6 hours of sunshine each
day. Shady locations will influence the batteries charge and may shorten the working time of the light at
night time. The Solar Light should not be placed near external lighting such as street lights, which may affect
the activation of the internal sensor once it becomes darker.
The solar light is ideal for night time illumination of garden decks, lawns, patios.
CAUTION: Locate where the lights will not create a hazard
How to use the Solar Light
•
Prior to initial use, the solar unit should be exposed to sunlight for at least 8-12 hours to fully charge the
battery.
•
Push the switch to the ON position when charging for the first time.
•
Find a location in direct sunlight and generally free from cover or shade.
•
Moisten ground if too compact to prevent damage to the stake
•
At night the oval LED solar lights will automatically turn on.
•
Ideally align the solar panel to face the midday sun to maximize charging.
