DESCRIZIONE
MAXISELF LED è una lampada LED di emergenza che si accende in assenza dell' alimentazione ordinaria (blackout).
Quando la MAXISELF LED è alimentata può rimanere spenta o accesa (lampada segnapasso) con tre differenti livelli di
luminosità selezionabili tramite dei micro selettori posti sul retro della lampada (FIG.1-6).
Tre LED ad elevata efficienza luminosa, alimentati da due batterie ricaricabili, garantiscono una buona illuminazione ausiliaria
nella zona d'installazione per una durata di circa 2 ore (autonomia). Un LED verde indica lo stato della lampada (FIG.1-2).
La lampada, che è estraibile, può essere utilizzata anche come Torcia normale o di emergenza (FIG.2-9). La lampada è fornita
con due frontalini colore Bianco e Antracite intercambiabili (FIG.1-1).
INSTALLAZIONE
ATTENZIONE: L'installazione e il montaggio del dispositivo deve essere realizzata da personale qualificato.
PRIMA DI ACCEDERE AI MORSETTI DI COLLEGAMENTO ASSICURARSI CHE I CONDUTTORI DA COLLEGARE O GIÀ
COLLEGATI ALLO STRUMENTO NON SIANO IN TENSIONE. Non alimentare o collegare il prodotto se qualche parte di esso
risulta danneggiata.
MONTAGGIO
La lampada MAXISELF LED è un dispositivo da incasso per scatola 3 moduli serie civile tipo 503, adatta per le seguenti serie:
BTICINO* (Living international, Axolute, Axolute Air, Light Tech e Màtix), VIMAR* (Idea, Rondo, Plana, Eikon e Arkè),
LEGRAND* (Vela e Cross), GEWISS* (Chorus Art, Lux e One), AVE* (Sistema 44), MASTER*
Per installare la Lampada seguire i seguenti passi (FIG.2):
1. Fissare il frontalino del colore prescelto sopra la parte frontale della lampada, cosi come indicato in FIG.2-1a. Per sostituire il
frontalino introdurre un cacciavite nella fessura della parte superiore e fare leva per svincolare il frontalino come indicato in
FIG.2-1b.
2. In funzione della serie civile prescelta, la distanza tra il supporto della serie e la base della lampada può variare. Per
regolare la distanza si dovrànno togliere o mettere i separatori in nylon posti dietro le staffette di fissaggio in metallo della
base (FIG.2-2). Le serie che non necessitano dello spessore in nylon sono:
Axolute e Light Tech di BTICINO, Vela di LEGRAND, Chorus Art, Lux e One di GEWISS (disinserire spessore FIG.2-2).
3. Collegare i fili alla base, facendoli passare dalle apposite fessure dedicate e secondo lo schema di collegamento (FIG.2-3).
4. Unire la base al supporto della serie scelta tramite le viti del supporto stesso e inserire le rondelle in gomma (FIG.2-4).
5. Per potere adattare la MAXISELF LED alla larghezza della luce della placca, che varia secondo la serie, utilizzare gli
spessori laterali da fissare direttamente sulla base inserendoli nelle apposite fessure (FIG.2-5). Sono disponibili diversi
spessori in relazione alle diverse serie civili.
6. Introdurre la Lampada all' interno dell'assieme formato dalla base e dal supporto della serie, assicurandosi che il corpo della
lampada sia saldamente connesso con il fondo della base e che con la placca applicata sporga ad una distanza tale per cui
si possa agevolmente estrarre e reinserire. In caso contrario ripetere le regolazioni delle distanze come indicato al punto 2
(FIG.2-6).
7. Fissare il tutto alla scatola incassata per il tramite delle due viti (FIG.2-7).
8. Infine applicare la placca sul supporto per completare il montaggio (FIG.2-8).

MESSA IN SERVIZIO
Un LED verde indica lo stato della lampada quando è connessa alla base alimentata:
- LED spento:

La modalità di funzionamento della lampada si configura con i tre microselettori posti sul retro (FIG.1-6).

livello luce basso = 5 lux, livello luce medio = 30 lux, livello luce alto = 150 lux.
In caso di interruzione dell'alimentazione, il LED verde si spegne e i tre LED si accendono al massimo livello di luminosità. La
stessa cosa accade quando la lampada viene estratta dalla propria sede per essere utilizzata come torcia.
INSERIMENTO E SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE: L'autonomia energetica della lampada è garantita da 2 batterie
ricaricabili del tipo NiMH HR03 (AAA) da 1,2 V 800 mAh, alloggiate nel corpo della lampada.
Quando si inseriscono le batterie è importante rispettare la polarità indicata.
UTILIZZARE SOLO BATTERIE RICARICABILI. NON INSERIRE BATTERIE NON RICARICABILI, QUANDO IL
DISPOSITIVO E' ALIMENTATO POTREBBERO DANNEGGIARSI E DANNEGGIARE LA LAMPADA
Per garantire una adeguata autonomia della batteria e la massima efficienza luminosa (600 lux) per una durata di circa 2 ore, si
deve tenere alimentata la lampada per almeno 12 ore consecutive .

DESCRIPTION

MAXISELF LED is a recessed wall mounting emergency LED lighting device that lights up when there is a loss of electrical
power or a blackout.
When MAXISELF LED is supplied from the mains it can be either OFF or ON at one of the three light brightness levels, which
can be selected by using the microswitches (FIG.1-6).
It includes three high efficiency LEDs that are fed from rechargeable (replaceable) batteries, thus ensuring suitable auxiliary light
in the area of use for approximately 2 hours, depending on the batteries used. It further includes a green LED that provides
device condition indication (FIG.1-2).
It can be pulled out from its mounting box and be used as an emergency portable torch (FIG.2-9).
The device comes with a choice of two front casings, white and anthracite (FIG.1-1).

INSTALLATION

THE DEVICE SHOULD BE HANDLED AND INSTALLED ONLY BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
CAUTION: Before accessing the terminals, ensure that the mains wires to the device are deenergized. If any part of the device
is damaged, it should not be plugged in or connected.
MOUNTING THE DEVICE: This device is designed to be installed in a 3 gang recessed wall mount box.
MAXISELF LED is compatible with plates from the following manufacturers: BTICINO* (Living Internacional, Axolute, Light and
Mastik series), VIMAR* (Idea, Rondo, Plana and Eikon series), LEGRAND* (Vela and Cross series), GEWISS* (Chorus Lux
and Art series), AVE* (Sistema 44) and MASTER*.
To install the lighting device, follow these steps (FIG.2):
1. Mount the front casing in the selected colour on the front of the lighting device, as shown in FIG.2-1a. To replace the front
casing, insert the tip of a screwdriver in the bottom groove and use it as a lever to release it, as shown in FIG.2-1b.
2. The distance between the intermediate frame and the adjustable mounting base may vary depending on the plate to be
used. This distance is set by either removing or keeping in place the nylon spacers in the screws that fasten the metal
brackets to the adjustable mounting base (loosen the screws in order to remove the nylon spacers) (FIG.2-2).
Plates that do not require nylon spacers are: Axolute and Light series by BTICINO, Vela series by LEGRAND, and Chorus
Lux and Art series by GEWISS.
3. Connect the wires. These should run from the recessed mount box to the adjustable mounting base, as shown in the wiring
diagram (FIG.2-3).
4. Attach the frame to the adjustable mounting base using the two screws and rubber washers supplied (FIG.2-4).
5. Use the side inserts supplied to adapt the MAXISELF LED to the width of the plate, which varies depending on the model.
Each insert has a code to indicate with which series it is compatible. Select the suitable inserts and mount them in the
grooves on the adjustable mounting base as shown in FIG.2-5.
6. Slide the device along the guides into the adjustable mounting base, ensuring that the connector pins plug into the matching
socket. Verify that it is securely mounted (FIG.2-6).
7. Use the two screws with the rubber washers to fasten the assembly (device + adjustable mounting base + intermediate
frame) to the two lugs in the recessed wall mount box (FIG.2-7). Tighten securely.
8. Mount the plate onto the intermediate frame (FIG.2-8).

COMMISSIONING

A green LED is provided to indicate lamp condition:
- LED OFF:
no batteries
- LED blinking every 1 sec.:

- LED ON:

The microswitches at the back are used to set the LED brightness level for normal operation (device powered from the mains).
If the 3 microswitches are set in the OFF position the device will be OFF.

If the power supply from the mains is interrupted, the green LED will switch off and the LED lamps will light up at their maximum
brightness.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT: This device uses 2 NiMH HR03 (AAA) batteries (1.2 V). When replacing them, follow the polarity
indications shown inside the battery casing.
USE ONLY RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. DO NOT USE DISPOSABLE BATTERIES IN THE DEVICE, SINCE DAMAGE
TO THE DEVICE AND/OR THE BATTERIES MAY RESULT WHEN POWERING UP.
To ensure appropriate battery duration at maximum brightness (approximately 2 hours at 600 lux), the lighting device should be
previously charged for at least 12 hours.
