1.2. The UTX-830 is a stand-alone unit. It can be battery operated or externally powered by a dedicated AC adaptor; it has RF transmitter module, a microcontroller, which controls the UTX- 830 operation, one PCB, and a door magnet.

Transmitter is deactivated. 1.2. Activating a Panic Alert: The UTX-830 sends a panic transition alert message to the monitoring station in the following way, activate the reed switch (Normally open / Close). Once in panic alert mode, the Universal Transmitter sends a panic alert message to the monitoring station.
