This lighting fixture has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other) as a safety
feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted.
Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature.

PRE-ASSEMBLY: Carefully remove all parts and hardware from carton, along with any protective plastic packaging. Do not discard any contents until after assembly is complete to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware. PARTS INCLUDED: (A) Base (B) Bottom Post (C) Middle Post (D) Top Post (E) Shade (F) Adjustment Knob (G) Handle (H) On/Off Control (I) Shade Ring For use with light bulbs with a E26 (medium) base. - Page 3 STEP 1: Begin with the Base (A) by placing it upright on a flat, even floor surface. Attach the Bottom Post (B), taking extra care not to strip the threads. Tighten firmly by hand. STEP 2: Attach the Center Post (C), taking extra care not to strip the threads. Attach the Top Post (D), taking extra care not to strip the threads. Carefully pull the power cord out from the Base (A) to remove slack. Attach the Handle (G) as shown. STEP 3: Carefully attach the Shade (E). Turn the Shade Ring (I) and tighten fully to lock the Shade (E) in place. Carefully install the light bulb after all parts are fully assembled. Loosen and tighten the Adjustment Knobs (F) to adjust the angle of the Top Post (D). Made in China...
