    REGISTRATION AND LOGIN 1. Run the “Brookstone Smart” app from your smart phone. 2. Register and login. * Screenshots may slightly differ from actual app.

    ADD DEVICE Plug in the Camera and wait for red light to blink rapidly and you hear a chime. If it doesn’t, press reset button for 3-6 seconds with the included pin, then release and the wait for red light to blink rapidly.

    APP FUNCTIONS Live Video To view live video simply click on the device under “All devices” and select the camera you just added. Hit the full screen button in the top left corner to see your live footage at full screen on your phone. To hide the control panel, you can press the top right button.

    Video Recording To record video press the “camera” button at the top of the control panel. To end recording, press the “camera” button again. The photo and video will be saved in the APP(iOS) or the photos and video section(Android). To view recordings, press “gallery”...

    Taking a Photo To take a photo, press the “camera” button. To view your photos, press the “gallery” button. Infrared Night Vision Night vision mode can be set to Auto/Off/On. The change modes, press the “Night Mode” button. Auto is default, which means the infrared night vision is controlled by the camera automatically.

    Two Way Audio To activate two way audio, press the “speak” button. When the button is orange, whatever you say into your phone will come out of the speaker on the camera. You can also hear at the same time any sounds from the live video on the camera.

    Device Volume To change the volume on the camera, press the “device button” and then you will be able to change the volume on the camera.
  • Page 20: Motion And Sound Detection

    Motion and Sound Detection The camera uses infrared sensors when someone/something appears within its detection area. It also detects sound so you can hear if your baby is crying. Push notifications will be sent to your phone once motion or sound is detected. To access controls of the detection alarm settings, press the camera setting button at the top right.

    Theme Color The control panel can be set to “Light Mode” or “Dark Mode”. To change this, press “Theme Color” and a pop up menu will let you select light or dark mode.

    Private Mode The camera has a private mode. When the private mode is turned on the camera goes to sleep. You can turn this mode on from the main screen by pressing “Private Mode”...

    Anti-Flicker The camera has an “Anti-Flicker” setting if you notice flickering in your footage. Select it from the main screen and choose which frequency works best.

    Night Light The camera has a night light feature that is dimmable. From the main camera screen, press “Light” and the options to control the night light will pop up. You can adjust the dimness from this screen or set a timer for it. When the camera is in the silicone bear cover the light is still visible.
  • Page 25 Lullaby’s and White Noise The camera can play 3 different lullaby songs along with the option of just playing white noise. To control this feature, on the main camera screen scroll to the bottom and press “Lullaby”. From there, you can control the volume, have the song set on repeat and pick which song you would like the camera to play.
  • Page 26 Viewing Temperature in Room The camera can tell you the temperature of the room it is in. To get to this feature, scroll to the bottom on the main camera screen and press “Temperature”. From there you can view the temperature and have the camera send an alert if the temperature gets to an undesired level.
