2. INTRODUCTION
Lightweight and compact heater, fitted with two quartz infrared elements. Features two heat settings controlled by a dial on the front of the unit,
along with a safety tip over switch stopping the unit working if the heater is knocked over. Housing incorporates a carry handle allowing the
heater to be moved easily, without having to touch the body of the unit.

4. OPERATION
4.1.
Place the heater on a level floor in the area you require to heat. Allow a
minimum of 2mtr between the heater and adjacent objects. DO NOT place
on soft or easily damaged surfaces.
4.2.
Plug the heater into the electrical supply and select the required output by
using the rotary power level switch (fig.1).
4.3.
Switch off and unplug from the mains allowing the unit to cool before
handling or storage.
WARNING! DO NOT cover.
WARNING! DO NOT touch the top of the heater when in use as it becomes hot.
WARNING! Use only on a smooth level surface.
4.4.
A safety tip switch is fitted to the base (fig.2). This is kept depressed by the
weight of the heater. Use on soft or uneven surfaces could lead to this switch
being opened, disabling the heater.
5.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before attempting any maintenance ensure the unit is unplugged
from the mains power supply, it is cool and on level ground.
DO NOT touch the element glass, even when cold.
DO NOT use the heater without the grilles fitted.
5.1.
To clean the reflector, remove the front grille by unscrewing the retaining screws and wipe the reflector with a clean dry cloth.
DO NOT use abrasives or solvents. The surface of the reflector is very soft and scratches may cause it to overheat. Replace the grille.

5.2.
To change the element remove the front grille by unscrewing the retaining screws.
5.2.1.
Ease the sprung sockets on the ends of the element back and pull the element forward so that it clears the socket, remove element.
WARNING! Never touch element glass directly with fingers, only touch the ceramic ends or use a soft cloth, to prevent damage.
5.2.2
Insert the replacement element carefully and clip into place.
5.2.3
Check the element is properly located, then replace front grille.

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable) into
approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
