According to EN ISO 7396-1, the valve box is equipped with the physical unsealing. For this purpose the relevant shut-off valve must be closed, the pipeline behind the valve should be emptied. Then, physical cut-off may be unscrewed and screwed in again after the works. For the emergency supply, NIST connectors should be used. - Page 6 7.
