- Page 3 Pedestal Mount Installation Manual 1 Introduction 1.1 Welcome to Your New Intelligent Temperature Sensing System Congratulations on the purchase of your new Gatekeeper Systems Intelligent Temperature Sensing System (ITSS). Gatekeeper’s Health Monitoring Panel is a standalone Intelligent Temperature Sensing System that detects temperatures of passengers in a transportation environment.
- Page 4 Intelligent Temperature Sensing Systems(ITSS) Pedestal Mount Installation Manual 2 ITSS Bus Pole Mount Installation This section provides instructions on the installation and setup of ITSS on a bus pole mount. 2.1 Pole Mount Fig 1 Pole with Self-tapping screws Fig 2 Pole Mount The pole is mounted at the front of the bus out of the way of foot traffic, preferably beside the driver console with 3 self-tapping screws (#10 x 1”).

Place Panel mount brackets around pole, and reinsert the screws. Make sure the panel is facing the stairwell.
