Intended Use
The DWH201D dust extraction system has been designed for
the extraction of dust when hammerdrilling into masonry or
concrete, and with solid drill bits mounted to the power tool.
This dust extraction attachment will fit most D
cordless SDS plus® rotary hammers, corded percussion hammer
drills and premium cordless drill/driver/hammerdrills. For

The dust extraction system is an attachment for use with
professional power tools.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn tool off and disconnect tool from power
source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. Be sure the
trigger switch is in the OFF position. An accidental start‑up
can cause injury.
Attaching the Ring Adapter (Fig. A, B)
Your dust extraction system comes with two adaptors; a toothed
adaptor for SDS plus® rotary hammers
adaptor for percussion hammerdrills
If the diameter of the tool's collar
adaptor is needed to properly mount the dust extraction system.
nOtE: If the diameter of the tool's collar is 54 mm, no ring
adapter is needed. Refer to the Technical Data in your tool's
manual for the proper collar diameter.
1. If a ring adapter is needed, choose the correct ring adaptor
for your tool.
2. Open the ring adaptor and slide it onto the tool's collar
with the lip of the adapter facing forward as shown in
Figure B.
nOtE: The adaptor will slide back and forth on the tool.
Assembling the Dust Extraction System
(Fig. A, C–E)
1. Choose the correct tool holder adapter for your tool (Fig. D).
‑ Short adapter is for use with standard SDS plus®
tool holders.
Medium adapter is for use with Quick Change Chuck
‑
(QCC) SDS plus® tool holders
‑ Long adapter is for use with the DCH417, D25413,
and D25417.
2. Assemble the long 25 , medium
holder adapter to the dust extraction connection port
using the supplied screw and a cross head screwdriver (Fig.
C). Tighten securely.
3. Carefully slide the newly assembled dust extraction
connection port and ring adapter into the slot on the right
hand side of the side handle assembly
