Safety Instructions
1.1 Main Voltage
Connect only to AC 220 - 240V
1.2 WARNING
• Read this instruction manual carefully before
using the hair dryer.
• Ensure that the voltage of the hair dryer is
identical to the main voltage.
• Do not use this hair dryer near bathtubs, showers,
basins or other vessels containing water.
• Unplug the hair dryer after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even when
it is switched off.
• Do not use liquids or gasses (hair spray) when
the hair dryer is in use.
• This appliance can be used by children from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the hair dryer in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the hair dryer.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unattended.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• For additional protection, the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) having a rates
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA
is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
1.3 Overheating protection
In case of thermal overload the hair dryer will switch
off automatically. Unplug the power cord and switch
off the hair dryer. Let it cool down. Check whether
hair or other dirt remains clogging the air inlet
before reconnecting and switching on the hair dryer.

Maintenance tips
• Unplug the power cord
• Wipe the hairdryer with a damp cloth and clean
the air inlet with a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
• Defective hair dryers may only be repaired by a
qualified electrician.
4.
Recycling instructions
Old appliances contain valuable materials that can
be recycled. Do not dispose old appliances with
the normal domestic waste but rather by way of
appropriate collecting points.

Sluit de haardroger alleen aan op wisselstroom

1.2 WAARSCHUWING
• Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing goed en
aandachtig door, voordat u de haardroger in
gebruik neemt.
• Controleer of het voltage van de haardroger gelijk
is aan het voltage van de netaansluiting.
• Gebruik de haardroger nooit in de nabijheid van
water (bijvoorbeeld boven een met water gevulde
wasbak, badkuip of douche).
• Haal na gebruik de stekker uit het stopcontact,
aangezien nabijheid van water een gevaar vorm
zelfs wanneer de haardroger is uitgeschakeld.
• Gebruik geen vloeistoffen of gassen (haarspray)
zolang de haardroger aan staat.
• Deze haardroger kan alleen gebruikt worden door
kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en ouder en door personen
met beperkte fysieke, motorische of mentale
vermogens mits zij onder supervisie staan van
een volwassene of als zij instructies hebben
gekregen over het veilig gebruik en zij zich
bewust zijn van de mogelijke gevaren.
• De haardroger is geen speelgoed, laat kinderen
er niet mee spelen.
• Het schoonmaken van en onderhoud aan
de haardroger mag niet zonder toezicht door
kinderen worden uitgevoerd.
• Indien het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het
vervangen worden door de fabrikant, een service
agent of door een persoon met vergelijkbare
kwalificatie om elk risico voor de gebruiker te
voorkomen.
• De installatie van een aardlekbeveiliging
met een nominale reststroom van 30 mA in
het elektrische circuit van de badkamer is
aanbevolen. Vraag uw installateur om advies.
1.3 Bescherming tegen oververhitting
De haardroger is voorzien van beveiliging tegen
oververhitting. In geval van oververhitting wordt
de haardroger automatisch uitgeschakeld. Haal
de stekker uit het stopcontact en schakel de
haardroger uit. Laat de haardroger afkoelen.
Ga na of er geen haren of andere vuilresten
het luchtinlaatrooster verstoppen alvorens de
haardroger opnieuw aan te sluiten en in te
schakelen.
