    Using detergent Detergent Follow the detergent package directions. Using too little etergent is a common cause of laundry problems. Use more detergent if you have hard water, large loads, greasy or oily soils or lower water temperature. Choosing the right Detergent We recommend the use of domestic detergent, (powder, liquid or concentrated).
