CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction
The following are care and maintenance instructions for the Gulp
TM
The 36" and 21" Gulp
cleaned after each use particularly when used in excessively muddy, gravely water.
Cleaning and Care Instructions
The top and bottom portions of the hand-pumps can be loosened in counter-clockwise manner
from the pump cylinder as shown in Figure 1-1. These should only be hand-tight and if your
hands are wet, dry them before attempting this task.
Thoroughly wash the inside of the hand pump cylinder, then wash both loosened ends.
Replacement parts for the current are available, see Figure 2-2 below;

  • Page 2 Verify the wiper seal is in good condition and is not worn. Replace as needed. Lastly before threading the bottom cap onto the cylinder, verify the flapper-valve is flat and not curled. Re-assemble both ends and hand-tighten only. Your Gulp is now ready to work as hard as you.
