1 About this guide This guide provides instructions for mounting the welding mandrel (part number FB-6041). 1.1 Safety instructions Follow these guidelines to ensure safe use and extend the life of the product. CAUTION • Read this document before using the product and keep it during the entire service life. - Page 3 2 Mount the welding mandrel The welding mandrel absorbs heat and can prevent warping during installation of the weld-in adapter. Prerequisites CAUTION While welding, the weld-in adapter and mandrel can get extremely hot. To prevent burns, allow the components to cool before disassembling the weld-in adapter and mandrel assembly.
