INSTALLING A BUFFING WHEEL 1. Loosen Screws on Buffing Wheel cover. Screws Twist Grinding Wheel Cover counterclockwise to remove. 2. Hold onto wheel to stop wheel from turning. Turn Nut clockwise to remove. Buffing 3. Remove Outer Flange. Wheel Cover Keep Wheel Bushing (5) and Inner Flange (7) in position on Spindle.
BUFFING 1. Apply the desired polishing compound (coarse or fine) onto the Buffing Wheel. 2. Make sure Switch is in OFF-position, then plug in the tool. 3. Turn on the tool. 4. Using two hands, firmly hold the workpiece and gently move it into contact with the Buffing Wheel.
ACCESSORY STORAGE AND HANDLING 1. Handle accessories carefully to prevent dropping or bumping. Do not use wheels that have been dropped or bumped. 2. Store accessories in shelves, racks, boxes, or drawers. Keep storage area dry and above freezing. Any grinding wheels exposed to humidity or freezing temperatures must not be used.
