Airforce ionizing blow-off gun mounting stand

Description

The Mounting Stand allows users to have hands-free operation of the AirForce Ionizing Blow-off Gun.

This manual provides installation instructions for the stand only. For installation, operation, or mainte-

nance information on the Ionizing Blow-off Gun, refer to Ion Instruction Manual #19-6115.

Determine the location where you want to install the mounting stand. Ion recommends locating the

stand on a work bench so that the nozzle of the gun is within 6" of the point of ionization.

Install the mounting stand using the two 10-32, 1.75" screws packaged with the stand. The use of equiv-

alent hardware for mounting is also acceptable. See the cover photo for a mounting example.

Remove the turnscrew at the top of the stand and open the clamp just enough so that the gun hose can

be inserted. See Figure 1.

Slide the gun so that the clamp is just below the trigger bump. Tighten the turnscrew so that the gun is

held tightly by the clamp. See Figure 2.

Position the gun at the point of ionization and operate in accordance with the Ionizing Blow-off Gun

operating instructions.
