  • Page 9 Field of application and correct utilization The Plane Raze Device SV 200 WV is build for grinding pcb´s. The Plane Raze Device removes the cured plugging paste excess after the hole plugging process from pcbs, thus receiving a very plane and flat surface. In the same time the copper is sanded down to a specified thickness all over the board.

Operating Elements Display power consumption grinding motor in [A] Normal: 3-5 [A] during grinding Gauge: Vacuum display during grinding During grinding a vacuum of at least 70-80% (-0.7 to -0.8 bar) must be reached by taping the vacuum table around the PCB. If the vacuum is insufficient the air flow is too large and too much water gets sucked into the pump.

Servomotor Danger! Subject to the load, the driving motor (servomotor) is getting hot up to 165 F (75°C). There is the risk of burns. Prior to starting the maintenance works, check the temperature of the metal parts. Change of grinding disc torque lever To change the grinding wheel, use the the provided tool(torque lever) and a 13 mm ring spanner.

Pcb grinding Note! The working surface must always be clean and prior to grinding swept off/vacuum- cleaned. The pcb-side with more unevennesses must first be ground. Now the grinding head to be evenly moved via the multifunction handle in „tracks” all over the pcb until getting an adequate grinding result. The noise resulting therefrom is a symptom for the grinding pressure.
