SAFETY WARNINGS
You will find various types of safety information on the following pages and on the labels attached to Graymills equipment. The following
Safety Statements explain their meaning:
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential personal injury
hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid personal injury or
death.
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death
or serious injury.
CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
CAUTION, without the safety alert symbol, is used to address practices not related to
personal injury.
READ BEFORE OPERATING

Electrical work must be done in accordance with all National and Local Codes by qualified personnel.

Electrical equipment must be suitable for the environment in which it is used. Chillter units are not meant to be used
in solvent environments, such as Class I, Division 1, Group D and EEx-d, Zone 1, Group IIB. If in doubt, check your
local electric codes.

Never use any electrical components or wiring to lift or move pump. Check cords, wires, and air lines. Replace any
that are damaged prior to use. FAILURE TO DO THIS COULD RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH.

All pumping systems must be properly grounded for the environment in which they are used, including static
prevention.
