INSTRUCTIONS Battery Removal and Installation 1. Make sure the unit is turned Off. 2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. - Page 5 IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

Storytime With Blue will automatically power down after approximately 100 seconds without input. - Page 9 2. Storytime Mode Press the Storytime Button on the Handy Dandy Notebook to hear Josh read a story without prompts for page turns and reading questions. Once the story is finished, 10 minutes of soothing music will play and then the toy will go to sleep. In Storytime mode, pressing the Music Paw Button will skip the story and proceed to play 10 minutes of soothing music instead.
