Overview of the control panels 4.3 How can I use the drawbar sound? The drawbar sounds are divided into two sound buttons. Under the sound button Drawbar presets are all drawbar sounds, which cannot be changed via the drawbar sliders. These are therefore fixed, sample-based sounds.

  • Page 32: The Wersi Ox7

Overview of the control panels The WERSI OX7 At the end of the 1990s, WERSI developed the OX7 drawer bar expander, which quickly found many lovers. Later, the hardware module was also transferred to the OpenArt system. For the new OpenArt-Xtended system, we have redesigned the OX7 module on a purely software basis.
  • Page 33 The vibrato normally runs at fast speed. As a special feature, the OX7 can also switch the vibrato to Slow. The older analog and the first "semi-digital" WERSI organs had no rotor but a vibrato, which could also be set to slow.
  • Page 34: Additional Setting Options

Overview of the control panels Routing of the Percusssion Here you can direct the percussion via three different paths (routes). At Direct, the percussion does not run via the vibrato and the rotor. The percussion sound sounds very clear and direct. At Vib. (Vibrato) the percussion passes through the vibrato and also via a possibly switched on rotor.
  • Page 35 Information: With the older WERSI instruments such as SPECTRA, DELTA or HELIOS there was no rotor simulation, but the WERSI VOICE. In addition to the normal fast vibrato speed (Fast), there was also a slow speed (Slow) for vibrato. And as with a rotor, the WERSI VOICE (vibrato) could also be switched between slow and fast with a slow / fast control panel button.

Overview of the control panels The WERSI VB3 With the WERSI VB3 you play the sound of the old electromagnetic organs, as well as the organ models from the 1960 and 1970 years. Variable Drawbars As soon as the organ operation has been called, the current train bar setting also appears.
  • Page 37 Note: As with an old electromagnetic organ, the 1" drawbar can no longer be heard when the percussion is switched on. Organ Type The WERSI VB3 drawbar system has three different types of organs: ToneWheel: This is the typical sound of an electromagnetic organ Italian Transistor: Sound of an Italian transistor organ from the 1970s.
  • Page 38: Vb3 Rotor-Settings

Overview of the control panels HumLevel The old electromagnetic organs generated a background noise of hum and noise. Such a sound does not fit permanently with a modern musical instrument. Therefore, you can adjust the noise in four levels in the volume or switch it off completely (Off). Click Set the volume of the KeyClick.
