3.3. Special functions

- Pulse function: use the "Pulse" key from the digital display or the hand-
le for increased precision when packing fragile items manually. Suction of air
from the bag will continue as long as the key is pressed. It may be pressed
intermittently for greater precision. Once the desired vacuum level has been
reached press the "Seal" key from the digital display or the handle to begin the
sealing stage. Once this stage has finished the lid will be unlocked and emit a
"beep".
- Accessory function: this function enables production of vacuums in special
recipients. Connect the suction tube to the recipient connector (Figure 1, point
6) and the other end to the recipient (the suction tube and recipients are not
included in the vacuum sealer). Press the "Accessory" key once the
connections are in place to begin the suction process. Once the maximum
vacuum level is reached the machine will stop automatically. The recipient may
then be disconnected. This function can only be used with accessories designed
- Marinate function: food may be marinated in special recipients using this
function. Insert the food to be marinated along with the seasoning into the
recipient. Important: ground spices which are not well mixed with the
sauce may obstruct or cause serious damage to the vacuum pump.
Connect the suction tube to the recipient connector (Figure 1, point 6) and the
other end to the recipient (the suction tube and recipients are not included in the
vacuum sealer). Press the "Marinate" key, press the "+""-" buttons to adjust
the marinating time (the time is displayed on the LED display), then the "Acce-
sory" key and the process will begin. The vacuum sealer will begin suction and
air impulse sequences which enable the seasoning to penetrate the pores of the
foodstuff. This function can only be used with accessories designed especially
for vacuum packing.
04. CLEANING
After using the machine, use a mild soap to clean the housing of the
appliance and the vacuum chamber to guarantee hygiene and keep the
sealer in good condition. In the same way, it is important that the sealing
gasket and bar and the vacuum seals are clean at all times to ensure bags
are sealed correctly (1 and 2 Figures). Periodically check that the vacuum
chamber is free of residue and impurities to avoid obstruction in the air
extraction process.
