INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the Viscount Raised Toilet Seat with Arms from Aidapt

BEFORE USE

Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments as this may damage the
surface of the product.
Check the product for any visible damage. If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use your product, but
contact your supplier for support.

INTENDED USE

The Viscount Raised Toilet Seat with arms is designed to fit the majority of UK toilet bowl shapes. The arms are provided to
assist the user when getting on and off the seat. Please note the user must not use arms to support their full body weight
as this could result in damaging the unit.

SAFETY

Consult with your physician or supplier to determine proper adjustment and use of the device.
Do not lean out of the Viscount Raised Toilet Seat to avoid falling out of the device.
The Viscount Raised Toilet Seat is intended for indoor use only.
Carefully check all screws are tightened before use.
Review weight limit and weight load before use. Do not use exceed the weight limit.
Do not make any modifications on this device.
Always check stability before use.

CLEANING

Clean your Viscount Raised Toilet Seat using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners
may damage the product beyond repair and should not be used. Always ensure your toilet seat is wiped dry after cleaning.
If to be disinfected by heat, one of the following three temperatures and duration of exposition can be used:
a)
a temperature of 90°C for 1 minute
b)
a temperature of 85°C for 3 minutes
c)
a temperature of 80°C for 10 minutes

INSTALLATION

1 – Ensure you inspect the product for any visual damage before use.
2 – Carefully remove the existing toilet seat and lid from the toilet.
3- To install arms, you must depress the push pins on the arms and insert them into the mounting tubes. Ensure they are
locked in place. To remove the arms, reverse this step.
4 – Carefully place the seat onto the toilet bowl. Position the raised toilet seat correctly on the rim of the toilet ensuring
the front lip is outside the bowl. (see fig. 1).
5- Ensure the front adjustment bracket clears the rim so that the toilet seat fits securely.
