Battery precautions and warnings The DI-50 DI box comes with a 9 V battery. Due to the hazardous substances of a battery, precautions must be met in order to use this battery and the product in which it is installed to, safely.
DI boxes which are equipped with passive circuitry. The DI-50 will work on a standard 9V battery and will work for several hours. Once the electronics of the DI- 50 notice that phantom power from a mixer or audio interface is present, the 9V circuitry will be disconnected and the device will automatically switch to phantom powered operating mode.

Practical extra’s The housing of the DI-50 is useful in different ways. For example, the shape of the housing makes it possible to stack several units on top of each other, thus saving valuable studio or stage space.
