H3C video encoder/decoder frame (hereinafter referred to as the frame) is a hardware component of the video surveillance system developed by Hangzhou H3C Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as H3C). It is used to install video encoders and decoders in a centralized way, and to provide power supply module and ground terminals for the encoders and decoders. -

Chapter 2 Installing the Frame After unpacking the frame, ensure the components are complete and intact according to H3C Video Encoder/Decoder Frame Packing List. If any problem is found, please contact the local agent of H3C. Before using the frame, follow the installation procedures in Figure 2-1or Figure 2-2 to install the frame according to the frame type. -

If an H3C rack is used, it is not required to install the front cable guide. After inserting the video encoder/decoder into the frame, use ground wire to connect the ground terminals of the encoders/decoders with those of the frame.
