- Page 3 START-UP GUIDE Connector Metal corner (can be attached to magnets) Velcro Unpack your panel and accessories from the kit. The panel features a short cable with connector. Plug it in to your dimmer-unit or use the extansion cable in between. Plug in your dimmer-unit to a power outlet. Instead of using the power outlet, there’s an option to use the integrated V-Mount or Gold-Mount plate on top of the dimmer to use batteries from 12-30V DC.
