March 10, 2025
The Triton T80 Easi-fit may not turn on despite power being indicated from the feed to the unit due to several possible reasons:
1. Showerhead or Hose Issue: If the showerhead or hose is damaged, the unit may not operate correctly. 2. Frozen Unit: If the shower is frozen or suspected of being frozen, it must be fully thawed before use. 3. Water Flow Issue: If water ceases to flow during use or does not reach the unit due to low pressure, restrictions, or a closed stop valve, the shower will not function. 4. Cover Fitted Incorrectly: If water has entered the unit due to an incorrectly fitted cover, the unit may not operate. 5. Electrical Fault: The unit may have an internal electrical issue that requires checking by a qualified professional.
If none of these resolve the issue, contact Triton Customer Service for further assistance.

Possible solutions for temperature variations in a Triton T80 Easi-fit shower include:
1. Water Too Hot: - Clean or replace a blocked inlet filter. - Reduce flow rate via temperature control. - Select ‘ECONOMY’ power mode. - Check and adjust mains water supply if necessary.
2. Water Cycling Between Hot and Cool: - Follow the same steps as for "Water Too Hot." - If the issue persists, contact Triton Customer Service.
3. Water Too Cool or Cold: - Reduce flow rate via temperature control. - Ensure the water supply is mains-fed and not tank-fed; if tank-fed, replumb to mains or install a pump. - Confirm the mains stop valve is fully open and there are no supply restrictions. - Increase ambient water temperature by adjusting flow rate. - Select ‘HIGH’ power mode. - If electrical issues are suspected, have the unit checked by a qualified professional.

The water may be lukewarm due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. Too much flow – Reduce the flow rate using the temperature control. 2. Low water pressure – Check if the water supply is mains or tank-fed. - If tank-fed, consider replumbing to mains or installing a pump. - If mains-fed, ensure the mains stop valve is fully open and there are no supply restrictions. 3. Reduction in ambient water temperature – Adjust the flow rate to reduce the flow and select ‘HIGH’ power. 4. Electrical issue – The unit may need to be checked by a qualified professional.
If the issue persists, contact Triton Customer Service for further assistance.

T80+ The system runs cold on first swich on ( OK water pressure) unless the temperature knob is fully against the stop , turning clockwise. Once the water runs warm, the knob can be turned back to the correct position. Can this be repaired with a new part? ALTERNATIVELY: Is the upgrade to the Z version an exact change with fixings and inlets?

If the Triton T80 Easi-fit runs cold on first switch on, it may be due to a faulty thermostat, which can be repaired by replacing the faulty part. If upgrading to the T80z version, the screw holes and fixings remain the same, so no changes to fixings or inlets are needed.
