Satellite Connections One pair of satellites has 9 feet (3 meter) cables and one pair has 12 feet (4 meter) cables. Typically, the satellites in the rear will require longer cable lengths, but the satellites are otherwise identical. If you need extra cable length for the front channel satellites, use the ones with longer cable there instead.
