Spring preload setting:
Minimum (hard):
Distance A = 218.5 mm (8.6 in)
Standard:
Distance A = 228.5 mm (9.0 in)
Maximum (soft):
Distance A = 233.5 mm (9.2 in)

CAUTION:
Never turn an adjusting mechanism beyond
the minimum and maximum settings.

3. Tighten the locknut to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Locknut:
42 Nm (4.2 m·kgf, 30 ft·lbf)
