9. As you turn the key, guide the
string so it wraps around the tuning
post/bent end three times. This will
keep the string from slipping out of
the hole.
Once the string is wrapped three
times, then just turn the key enough
so that the string stays in place.
10. Refer to the enclosed tuning card
to tune up your lap harp!

CHANGING STRINGS Strings should be replaced when they become dirty, discolored, or produce a dull sound. Strings should always be changed by an adult. You can change your strings in these easy steps: 1. Remove the old strings. 2. Take a new string out of the plastic pouch included with this guide.
