Chapter 2 Hardware Setup Overview For convenience and flexibility that allows USB interfaces, as well as multiple platforms, the KVM over IP switch design utilizes KVM Adapter Cables, that serve as intermediaries between the switch and the connected devices (see Adapter Cable Connection Diagram, page 25 for details).
