If the input signals to the SB-5644 are appropriate, switch the power switch to <ON> and you should see and hear the signals on the devices you have connected to the various output connectors of the SB-5644. -

The video and audio outputs will also mute. While the unit is turned off by RS-232 it will continue to accept and act upon switching commands. -
