  • Page 3 1.3 Features: − With the Sitecom MD-020 BE, you can easily create, edit, and backup SIM card user-data, phonebook and message entries using your PC and stop typing in information using the mobile phone's keypad instead of typing in PC.   • Page 4 MD-020 BE Card Reader 2. Driver/Utility Installation A SIM Editor utility is provided to help you manage SIM card data in an easier way. Take these steps to install the utility. Insert the CDROM into your CD-ROM drive. The CDMenu will automatically start.
  • Page 5 Connect the SIM Card Reader to a free USB port on your computer. Insert your SIM card into the reader with the gold contacts facing down. Launch the SIM Editor. Go to Start > Programs > Sitecom MD-020 BE SIM Editor > Sitecom SIM Editor.
  • Page 6 MD-020 BE Card Reader Adding and Editing data on a SIM card Note: Users are advised to first create a backup of the data that's currently on the SIM card. Follow the steps on the next page, to create a backup.
  • Page 7 MD-020 BE Card Reader Backing up your SIM card To make it easier to backup the content of your SIM card, the data in your phonebook can be backed up on your PC. Click the Import/Export-button, and select “Export” from the menu.
